An orphaned blossom
released to fly, yet lingers
yearning fills my soul
in my loneliness I cling to my memories
like a vine to dying tree
a loss that remains deep within me
time does not disperse the endless pain
a distant longing blown in by the wind
in my dreams it still lingers
now forever my reality

What a beautifully poignant poem. Your words capture the quiet ache of loss with such grace and tenderness.
The image of memories clinging “like a vine to a dying tree” is especially powerful, reminding us how love and remembrance endure even when time moves on.
