Alone again, under a darkened sky
I await the rising of the moon
and the brilliant stars that accompany her
in the space between two heartbeats
stands the door to eternity
an eternity that means nothing to me
now that you are gone
surrender is the only option
a quiet melancholy falls gently on me
an ocean of grief, waves of silk
the long unwinding
leaving wounds that only I can see
the flowers of the night are glowing softly
and I still linger in the halls of dreams
my gardens are yet unripe and I am unready
and unwilling, to step into the light
