In the silence of longing
the weightless burden of love
nothing can save us from this
truth lost in the unwinding
I can see that you are falling
the unspoken words in your eyes
desire binds us like ivy
each to the other in time
velvet ties keep us close
in ever-present hunger
forever mine my beloved
I am always yours alone
