I feel the cold touch of fear

Stretching languorous

Beneath my desires

Yet in indefinable loneliness

They still cleave to me like fire

In whispered overtures

And unspoken undertones

You curl around my soul

Like the dark tendrils

Of a sweet clinging vine

That grow in my sorrow

Loss and longing intertwined
