Wandering
in the quiet halls of night
my heart secretly gathers blossoms
first they become buds
and then become flowers
whose petals fade
and fall gently away
into vast endless cycles
of grief and devastation
sorrows’ hopeless tides
weather away stone
only time remains
intractable and constant
