In the garden there is an old clock, leaning against the ancient ivy
it’s hand still, it’s chimes silent, moss blurring its face
the birdsong tells the time now
petals randomly unfold regardless of the seasons
the hour is never known now, only the darkness and the light
forever cheating time
nothing ever ages here, everything simply blooms
