I still remember your voice
the gentle way you spoke to me
the way your eyes
those deep shades of blue
looked deep inside of my soul
how you always knew
what I was thinking
almost before the thought was born
our moods always in harmony
our desires ebbed and flowed
in wild synchronicity
ours was a tender love
but the flames became
a blazing wildfire
burning us to ashes
our love still lingering
in the dust and the shadows
a constant reminder
an unbroken promise
our hearts forever joined
for we are one soul
burning eternity away
