Your spirit lingers here
our secrets undiscovered
in this tranquil place
for I carry you with me
a wild violet flame
which after all this time
still burns brightly
in the darkness
in the silence of night
in the long, lonely hours
it quietly flickers to life
and peace gently settles
in my broken heart
