In this faraway place
where thunder always reigns
darkness falls like a shroud
the horizon monochrome
flickering like film
upon a once silver screen
I feel it in my bones
rain falls like shards of glass
in the tempest of my heart
my untamed soul a wild void
where the storm lives in me
wild winds roam the night
and I feel your absence
the wild ocean is sobbing
my heart darkening
petals of memories fall
and I hear you calling
memories and pain bleeding
like rivers into an abyss
stars once wild and free
are suddenly free falling
now aching to become
as one with the darkness
their flames burning brighter
as they lose themselves
in the moonlight
the night holds them close
until only their ashes remain
now forever lost in endless time
and all I can hear is
your wild heart beating
