…against the ebb

Falling in beauty
the red and gold of autumn spiralling playfully
snowflakes drift softly to earth
silvery moonlight falls, pearled and luminescent
heavy morning dew
fragrant spring blossoms gather
a velvet carpet
sun sets gracefully each day
waves roll into shore, painting pictures as they land
rain transforms the scene
with whispering songs of joy
we fall into love, in colours of happiness
like leaves and petals, snowflakes and moonlight
blinded by the light
the rhythm of sea and the hymns of sky
falling in beauty against the ebb to the ground
seasons will flow regardless
