The sky is turquoise
there is the scent of roses and salt from the sea
shadows fall from unseen trees
I hear a bird call, a feather drifts softly down
I walk the cliff path, wind blows in off the ocean
I feel so alone yet this place seems familiar
it feels so like home
I know that I am searching I know not what for
but it calls to me strongly and won’t be denied
memories are haunting me
and your voice speaks my name
then weightless I am falling
and taken back with the tide
