An ocean of stars crowd the sable night
their fleeting life both starts and ends in fire
the moon above reflects its silver sheen
upon the restless ancient tides below
tides that are both a cradle and annihilator
their ebb and flow forever mark these shores
sculpting beauty that only they can create
in this place where life endures in unseen depths
where each breathless moment is as brief as a sigh
yet somehow still lingers longer than time itself
a gift bestowed by ancient lunar laws
