The wind speaks your name
there is the scent of roses
and salt from the sea
deep in the shallows
drifting in and out of pain
becoming fragile
the hours of darkness
in my heart the pain lingers
like a clinging vine
and the waves still rise
and the pain does not recede
mist circles the moon
