Morning tides retreat
leaving traces in the sand
a fleeting goodbye
promises made by the sea
washed away with the dawn’s light
The ocean reflects:
I always return
when the moon calls to my soul
waves will bring you dreams
in each crest my beating heart
love forever in my tides
