The age-old kisses of the sea on stones
every ripple sweeps me back in time
I return to this shore over and over
and sit on the rocks
where we once watched the sunset
as the waves lapped at our feet
I pile the pebbles just as we used to
and with each caress of the cool ocean
I feel you near once more
