Desire is a fragile bird
perched on the back of a deadly snake
tentative and anxious
a dangerous decision it needs to make
or a bird resting on an electric wire
seemingly unaware of the danger
oblivious to its volatile nature
basking in the warmth of the sun
unprepared for the possibility of flames
