Summer
breathes around me
barely broken into day
a sleepy sunflower
ripples
in the gentle breeze
sprinkling
a kaleidoscope of dust
awakening colour
from shades of grey
tiny galaxies
committed to collide
delicate
shimmering hues
floating gently
towards the ground
diffusing the light
weaving sunshine
into dreams
I am lost in this magic
that appears before me
in the light
then disappears
without a trace
into the falling night
