…are falling again
How many days love?
how many seasons shall pass?
the rivers still flow
sun rises and the night falls
I sense your presence
and feel your breath on my skin
your eyes still haunt me
the leaves are falling again
another ending
cold winds scatter them afar
these sorrowful days
but they tumble together
resisting the flow
these autumn days pain me love
I stand ’til light fades
follow each leaf as it falls
then one finds its mate
they rush tangled together
into the darkness
my heart leaps I shed a tear
I walk away in silence
