Fragile windows
house of glass
painted
in strokes
both tender
and harsh

coloured
in darkness
instead of light
shadows of lies
already falling
on yet unbroken panes

shattered shards
hearts broken
like crumbling leaves
holding fast
to empty trees
extinction is calling
