You are as formless as the sea

woven in the whispers of moonlight

a tapestry of tragedy

just dark silken memories

like the shadows of fallen leaves

that still tremble in barren trees

I am a solitary leaf

swirling in endless circles

as if captured by a turbulent breeze

that only I can perceive

the trees look on in silence

still as statues

coldly observing

the pain and the loss

carried in each poignant pirouette

as I am slowly breaking apart

pieces of me drifting away

into the flow of night winds

my final adagio
