Poetry Clips – And Then Came The First Colour Of Autumn (The Last Fire Of The Day)

And then came the first colour of autumn

Long before the first leaf

Fell down

Into eternity

Your absence

Fell on me

The seasons

Changed us both

Like the weeping trees

In abundance

And decay

I cast away the memory

And catch the last fire

Of the day
