Poetry Clips – And Then Came The First Colour Of Autumn (Fading From View)

And then came the first colour of autumn

A perfect single leaf

Trembled

Upon the ground

Curling

Towards the dawn

In supplication

Forlorn and abandoned

Her voice now just a whisper

Ravaged by the season

Already fading from view
