Poetry Clips – And Then Came The First Colour Of Autumn (Brittle Leaves)

And then came the first colour of autumn

The trembling breath of the season

Shaking leaves in the trees

Darkness unfurled

In downward rivulets

My heart was drifting

Down winding roads

Empty but for memory’s brittle leaves

Mournfully serenading me
