I am a petal blown off course
Too light to settle
Loneliness is unfurled
In the vagrant drifts
And whispers of gentle breezes
They ebb and flow
And I am swept away
Our memories intertwined
As ivy to a stone wall
Yet are forever out of reach
Like the fragrance of flowers
This is the music of my abandoned dreams
Found only in memories
And under moonlit leaves
I feel you, just a whisper away
Tiny ripples touch my soul
As a moth, lonely too
Circles a flame
