Story (Fragmented Images)

A story told in fragmented images

Ancient pages fallen open

Ivy clinging to stone walls

Rose laced trellises

Cobbled pathways

Fields that stretched away

Stained glass shadows

Filtering layers of light and leaves

Songs of the heart

Whispered soft and low

The sound of bells

A solitary candle burns

Hands of unseen ghosts

Each touch conveys many words

An unbroken cliff line

A kiss upon the wind

Something feels incomplete

But it has already gone

Hiding just out of sight

In the corners of my heart
