Another Season

Another Season

Mournfully, winter is always

Some form of ending

Yet a winter midnight

Harbours a gentle spring

And soon it gives way

Surrendering to warmth and light

Filled with star-kissed dreams

Latticed with golden sun

The soft and healing touch

A song to be heard

Upon its fragrant wind

It is already flower weather

Another season come and gone

Don’t just let them pass you by

What lies beyond

Awaits unknown

And flows like rivers of wine
