Winds of Fate
Oh cruel
Bitter winds of fate
You played your wicked part
His absence
An endless ache
Like an arrow
Lodged within my heart
In this slowly drifting
Unquiet night
I have lost my place
And time is an illusion
Of voids and sleeplessness
Searching for dreams
That recall his precious face
In my pain
I have lost the colours
And the light
I am floating here alone
On these dark waves of sorrow
Spreading my sails
On the rising winds
Into eternal flight
