Love, You Fill Me

Love, You Fill Me

You fill me

Like a nagging fear

But overwhelming

That crawls with cold fingers

Through the very pit of me

You fill me

From the first leap

Of my heart

A tightening

A dissolving

A warmth that grows

And runs through me

Like a sudden recollection

That comes unbidden

From the depths of memory

Or waves that surge

And crash heavily

My love

You fill me

      1. You are very kind. Perhaps I am blessed I have a difficult job that drives me to seek balance in the universe and makes me find those three things of beauty in every day before I go to sleep (no matter how bad the day has been), and to lose myself in words and pictures when time allows it. I am enjoying learning new styles of writing so much now I am thinking retirement might not be too bad in good time – maybe I can spend more time reading and learning even more!
