Melancholy Falls On Me

Melancholy Falls On Me

Sorrow is a treacherous path

A precipice

A cliff of crumbled stone

Memories are mirrors

The boundless loneliness

Of my soul

An ocean of grief

Like numberless waves of silk

Ever rolling over me

Leaving wounds

That only I can see

Moonlight flows in my window

And my dreams are like ghosts

Looming over me

My candle casts a shadow

And melancholy falls on me
