Light Lingers

Light Lingers

Shadows are deepening

The day sheds its colours

Unwillingly

As night blossoms

In silken whispers

I feel alone

With the moon

Beyond the world

I see the light

Is a part of the dark

Silvered

Upon the edge of leaves

And lingering

Tremulously

Inside of me
