Choka – Longing (I Taste Salt On My Lips)

Choka – Longing (I Taste Salt On My Lips)

I stand on this cliff

Above the dark rocky shore

Birds soaring on high

Their cries drift soft on the wind

The tide ebbs and flows

I taste salt upon my lips

Spray stinging my cheeks

Sun sprinkles sparkling diamonds

Over azure sea

Deep longing overwhelms me

I breathe it all in

Like this vast restless ocean

I ache to be wild and free
