The Garden Calls You Still

The Garden Calls You Still

A memory echoes deep

In this imagined place

A picture distorted

An illusion

That I cannot forget

A sense of isolation

Yet a place of secrets shared

A shadow of a sound

The fragrance of flowers

A silence without a centre

A single cherry blossom

Falls in quiet perfection

Wild violets grow

Between light and shadow

And frame a spring stream

Beyond the cliffs

A wild sea

Between the earth and sky

A breeze brushes against my skin

The dream of you wont leave me

And the garden calls you still
