An Exquisite Pain

An Exquisite Pain

Moonlight drifts

In silken cascades

All I see

And all I seek

Is you my love

Like the cherry’s branches

My arms are empty

Although the blossoms

Are long scattered

A soft fragrance

Fills the air

And I am lost in it

Unravelling

Like a silken sail

Across an empty sky

Sweet surrender

Your memory ever lingers

An exquisite pain
