Choka – Night (Dawn Finds Me With Empty Arms)

Choka – Night (Dawn Finds Me With Empty Arms)

Night creeps in slowly

Shadows deepen cool wind blows

I feel it crawling

Trailing its cloak of darkness

Over everything

The world is somehow smaller

And yet becomes vast

The horizon has vanished

Time becomes sleepy

The minutes labour like hours

My heart feels heavy

This journey is always hard

Morning is so far

And my dreams must be endured

For better or worse

They bring you to me my love

Dawn finds me with empty arms
