Sunshine Dreams

Sunshine Dreams

Summer breathes around us

Like sleep barely broken into day

Rippled by gentle breezes

Sprinkling a kaleidoscope of dust

Enchanting and changing

A collection of pigments

Awakening colour

Where there were grey shades

Tiny galaxies committed to collide

A delicate, shimmering, hue

Floating gently downward

Watch how it diffuses the light

Weaving sunshine into dreams

Lost in this magic

That hangs before us in the light

Then disappears

Without a trace
