One Moon Is Reflected In Many Waters

One Moon Is Reflected In Many Waters

Raindrops falling on stone steps

A hazy drizzle, veiling the trees

You stand in the mist

With form that is no form

That eerie aspect of rain

Smoothing away the harsher elements

That gives way to the wetness

Cold, sobbing rain

Driven forward by the wind

In all that vast expanse

Just one clouded tree

Drenched with recent falls

Desolate

Water glints and gleams

In the moonlight

Crystalline raindrops

A shroud wraps the world

In silks of mourning colours

The sky weeps for the fallen

And one moon

Is reflected in many waters
