An Untold Story

An Untold Story

Twilight claims the day

All too soon

Just before my eyes close

I write your name

And it awakes

A distant memory

A flower in the sky

A door opens

In my heart

A breeze

Flutters through

The candle flickers

But too slowly

To be extinguished

Yet I know

It is all an illusion

Turned to ashes

Long ago

And that this

Is just an untold story

Trying to escape reality

In a fleeting dream
