And Still it Snows

And Still it Snows

A shadowless dusk

Perfect

Like vast space

Soft fall of leaves

As a cold wind blows

Some snows

Fall harder than others

A veil comes down

Across the mirror

An ancient echo

Of an empty space

An image from the past

Snowflakes

Dance upon the wind

So brief

So fleeting

Softly falling

To the ground

I dream of whispers

And loves’ sweet kiss

My heart melts

And I wonder

Where you are

Upon this very day

I feel you call me

Leaves fall

Red into white

Beauty on the breeze

Leaving only

A fog of memories

Yet still it blows

The frigid wind

And still it snows

Still it falls

And still it falls

On me
