Awakenings
The world awakes with its’ countless callings
And whispers words
I have waited all my life to hear
Sending time into whirls and colours
Scattering the shadows
Through a magic transformation
For that, most fleeting of moments
I listen with a grateful heart
Revisit with new knowledge
All the things I dreamed were so
And that are now once again
Rendered into sound

/ February 17, 2012Thanks for reading my poetry – if you have a browse through the menu – you will find three headings, To The Ends Of The Earth And The Four Winds is a collection of poems about love and relationships, The Flow Of Moments is a collection about nature and seasons, and Swimming In the Silence is a collection of kind of dark poems (well sometimes anyway!) or more introspective things – there are some uncategorised poems as well – but my reason for this long hello is to tell you that my work is really varied – some you may like and others may not be your cup of tea, but it’s fun to explore!
